Crutches
We have a large number of childrens, adults, underarm crutches. These are available for weekly hire, and we can provide receipt for ACC claims. We also sell very inexpensive crutches if you are needing them for a period of time.
Wheelchairs
We have a large number of wheelchairs for hire. From daily hire, weekly hire or monthly hire, we can accommodate your needs. Our wheelchairs are available in self propelled option or transit option where a caregiver can push you along. Our selection is available for regular and larger size people. If you are needing a chair for someone over 110kg, please advise this. All our wheelchairs are foldable for easy transport. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense.
Knee Walkers
We have a large number of knee walkers available for hire. Knee walkers are a great option for when you want to get around at speed, and be able to carry items with you. Available for daily, weekly or monthly hire. They can fold to be able to transport in your car. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense.
Walking Frames
We have a variety of walking frame options for rental. Light weight frames, frame with wheels for inside use, and outside use, frames with seats. All our frames will fold and can be transported in the boot or behind the front passenger seat of most vehicles. Sometimes renting a frame is a good opportunity for people to gain confidence in their need of the benefits of a walking frame. In this circumstance where people then choose to purchase the frame, we may be able to deduct the rental off of your purchase. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense.
Walking Sticks
We have walking sticks available if you are just needing to use a walking stick to support your balance. We also stock a huge variety for purchase. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense.
Shower Chairs or Stools
We have a variety of shower supports to keep you safe and comfortable in the shower. Whether you need a shower chair with arms, without arms, a stool that rotates, or a stool to perch on. These are available in different sizes to suit different types of baths and showers. We have options for the larger size person too. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense.
Beside Commode
We have several commode types available. These can be used to assist when you when you are unable to easily access your toilet. They can be used beside your bed, in your campervan or when lowering yourself onto your toilet seat is difficult. Eg after hip surgery. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense. These items must be returned clean or a cleaning charge does apply.
Overtoilet Frame and Elevated Toilet Seat
We have toilet frames to use when you are needing support using the toilet. These can also include a toilet seat so as to reduce the distance to lower your body. Useful after hip surgeries. Available for weekly or monthly periods. These may not fit in We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense. These items must be returned clean or a cleaning charge does apply.
Hospital Chair
We have hospital Rehab chairs available for hire. When you are needing a waterproof, comfortable chair, with adjustable legs heights then this is the perfect rehabilitation chair. It can be adapted to suit the best height for you. Can be hired for weekly or monthly periods. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense.
Mobility Scooter
We have mobility scooters available for hire. When you need to get around easily or want to find out if you a mobility scooter would be suitable to own then hiring our mobility scooters are easy and convenient. Available for minumum hire of two weeks.
Blood Pressure Monitors
We have accurate, easy to use digital blood pressure monitors available for hire. Helpful when your Doctor is changing your medicine doses or when you may be wanting to keep a check on your health. We will teach you how to use the monitor to ensure accurate results. Available for daily, weekly or monthly hire.
Pulse Oximeters
If you are needing to check how much oxygen is circulating around your body such as with a viral infection or COPD , then we have medical grade pulse oximeters available for hire. We will teach you how to read these, and provide you with information as to when you need to get medical intervention.
Vaporiser
Available for rental on weekly basis. A warm steam vaporizer provides multiple benefits, especially when you feel sick: The moisture of the steam can help relieve your cough and reduce congestion in your chest and sinuses. Proper humidification with a vaporizer can also reduce the irritation in your nose, eyes and throat, triggered by a cold or allergies.
Bed Levers
We hire bed levers for when you need assistance getting in or out of bed. A bed lever slides under your mattress and provides a secure handle for you to grasp to guide you getting in and out of bed. Available for weekly or monthly hire. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense.
Bed Cradle
We hire bed cradles to use when you need to take the weight of your bed covers off of your body, such as toe surgery or broken foot. Available for weekly or monthly hire. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense.
Overbed Tables
We hire overbed tables for you to use when you need to eat or read in bed. Available for weekly or monthly hire. We can provide ACC receipts for you to claim the rental expense.
Tens Machine
We hire tens machines for weekly or monthly hire. Tens machines can help deal with pain. These should not be used if you have a pacemaker or other heart related monitoring.
Obstetric Tens Machine
We hire tens machines specific for help with labour pain management. These are available for a minimum of 2 weekly hire. We provide instructions you with instructions on how to use the device.
Nebuliser Machine
We hire nebuliser machines to help with breathing for asthmatics and people with COPD. You will need a prescription from your doctor to provide you with medicated nebules for use in this machine.
