We carry a variety of Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) products, which are fully funded by Pharmac , including:
Habitrol lozenges - mint or fruit flavoured. Available in different strengths, these are sucked slowly to release nicotine. Depending on how many cirgarettes you have been smoking, will determine if you also need the patches to assist you.
Habitrol patches - daily removable adhesive patches which slowly deliver a prescise dose through the skin into your blood stream. This helps reduce nicotine cravings. Patches come in three different strengths. Some people find it best to remove these at night if they cause them vivid dreams. Available in 21, 14 or 7mcg
Habitrol Gum - plain, fruit or mint flavour, and available in different strengths. gums are one of the most popular nicotine replacement products. These are chewed slowly until the taste becomes strong, and then parked in the mouth between the teeth and the gum, until they are needed again.

The supply of NRT products is subsidised FREE when provided by a pharmacist.
Products can be supplied once per month, in monthly quantities.
